ReplyDeleteMy name is Ernest Johnson. Over the pass six yrs. I have been working hard on an idea to help seniors ages 50 or older and those with disabilities. I want to open a center that will promote outdoor exercise and will promote and motivate walking, running, or bicycling. Our primary goal supports health care & pre-care in many ways, this is why we need it now!
For the last 6 Months, we have requested a permit to open and start this center in Lithonia Georgia and on Aug 11, 2009 DeKalb county Board of Commissioners voted "NO"! This is why we need help now! To send a message and let them know we disagree with the vote and we will continue to fight for what is right. We are a non-profit organization and our mission is to provide social, physical fitness, recreational, and other activities for the benefit of the elderly, physically challenged individuals, and families residing in Stone Mountain and surrounding communities in Georgia. To create an atmosphere that feels welcoming, comfortable, safe and accessible to all who use it. To use specialty bicycles for those with disabilities and to provide unique ways of solving an old problem – Getting everyone interested in exercising.
